Acute and chronic electrophysiological responses of mouse primary neurons to test compounds were analyzed using the CIMFS-32 system. During the acute response period, the Non-treated group remained near baseline levels. Compared with the Non-treated group, Treatment B produced the greatest increase in neuronal firing and network activity, whereas Treatment C caused rapid suppression of electrophysiological activity immediately after treatment.
During the chronic response period, the Non-treated group showed day-to-day changes that were smaller than those observed in the treatment groups. Treatment A maintained electrophysiological activity through Day 6 before declining at Day 8. Treatment B showed an initial increase in activity followed by progressive reductions over time, whereas Treatment C showed reduced neuronal firing together with transient increases in network activity at the early time points.
